What everyday thing are you better at than anyone else? Efficiencies in quiltmaking that allow me to turn a profit in a very low-margin business. Most quilters can’t make money making quilts.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? If you start your own business, it won’t be just a business. It will be your hobby, too. It will take up more time than you can imagine.
Is there anything else you’d like to add? My 30+ year career in the corporate world really helped me learn the fundamentals of running a business, like estimating a job and meeting deadlines. It amazes me that the local small business people I meet are so poor at these skills, and don’t see any value in developing them.
